Met the owner of this 1981 Pontiac Parisienne Brougham. That’s how he described the velour interior. What a boat.
Also, Moose Jaw is lovely.

It always amazed me how different the Parisie nne looked from the Caprice, even though it was 98% the same car.
The car looks to be in great shape. It’s been 20+ years since I’ve seen one.

Apparently it has 140k kilometres on it and is his roadtrip car.

I have no doubt that it excels at that duty. It might even give the car some chance at double digit gas mileage under those circumstances. I think I remember our old Custom Cruiser getting something like 12 mpg on road trips.

The downsized B-bodies were one of Bill Mitchell’s parting gifts to GM, really fantastic designs.
I’ve always been partial to Buick, myself. Like that reverse angled effect to the front end.

I dig it. Reminds me of my old Delta 88.
